In 2009, I undertook a writing project to develop a course text for an Introduction to Philosophy
course. The goal was to provide a viable text at a more reasonable cost that many of these types of
textbooks on the market today. Also, I wanted to include some information relative to online and
other types of adult learning strategies. 

This book was published in the Spring of 2010. It is entitled Introduction to Philosophy: 
Understanding the Basics. It has a sub-title of A Companion Guide for Online, Hybrid 
and Telecourses. The ISBN is 978-0-7575-8792-4
