I am currently teaching college courses at Oxnard and Moorpark Colleges in the VCCCD.  I also teach Social Ethics at California Lutheran University.  My email is dthiel@vcccd.edu

Moorpark College Televideo Course. This course has been offered each Fall, Summer, Spring since 2000.  It is distance learning and a video series called the "Examined Life" is utilized.  Use the hyperlink to the left for the current syllabus.

Oxnard College PACE program.  I have had the pleasure of teaching philosophy classes in the PACE program since its inception in 1999.  I have developed two "hybrid" courses that combine distance learning AND classroom instruction.  PACE classes are held in the newer CSSC building on campus at Oxnard College
